The Armenian government is set to discuss a regulation on joint delimitation work with Azerbaijan on September 5. This regulation outlines the process for organizing delimitation activities, creating relevant documents, mapping boundaries, and establishing expert groups.
Following the signing of a Protocol in April 2024, the commissions from both countries have finalized the Regulations on Joint Activities. The signed Regulation on Joint Activity on August 30, 2024, marks a significant step towards resolving border disputes between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Currently, both countries are in the process of completing their domestic procedures to implement the agreed regulations for the delimitation process. This important development highlights a commitment from both sides to work towards peaceful border negotiations and resolutions.
