    The ruling Congress in Karnataka urged governor Thawar Chand Gehlot to sanction the prosecution of HD Kumaraswamy and three former BJP ministers, citing pending investigations.

    The Congress delegation met the governor to highlight the completion of investigations in the cases of HD Kumaraswamy and BJP ministers, calling for their prosecution.

    Deputy CM DK Shivakumar expressed concerns about the governor’s impartiality and potential political bias, urging him to uphold the Constitution.

    CM Siddaramaiah did not participate in the procession, and Shivakumar emphasized the need for fair treatment in sanctioning prosecutions.

    Shivakumar warned against political interference and requested the governor to act responsibly in permitting prosecutions in pending cases.
