Some members of the school management have also been made accused in the case. The accused was arrested on August 17 for sexually abusing two kindergarten girls in the school’s washroom, leading to widespread protests in the area.
Angry parents and citizens blocked railway tracks at Badlapur station for 10 hours and vandalized a local school demanding strict punishment. The Maharashtra government has formed a special investigation team to probe the incident, with 25 police personnel injured during the protests.
This development comes amidst growing concerns over the safety of children in educational institutions, highlighting the need for stringent measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
