A call for action has been made by a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Mr. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, appealing to President Bola Tinubu to intervene and put an end to the recurring challenge of inadequate fuel supply leading to scarcity in the country.
Oyintiloye expressed concern over the suffering Nigerians endure monthly due to the fuel scarcity issue, despite the removal of subsidy. He urged the President to investigate the activities of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company to identify the root cause of the ongoing crisis.
With Nigerians facing challenges obtaining fuel at high prices and enduring long queues at gas stations, Oyintiloye emphasized the need for immediate action. He called for the revamping of government refineries to stabilize fuel prices and alleviate the hardships faced by the citizens.
It is time for the authorities to step in, address the fuel scarcity crisis, and provide relief to the Nigerian people who are bearing the brunt of the situation. Let’s hope President Tinubu heeds this plea and takes decisive action to alleviate the suffering caused by the fuel scarcity issue.
