Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s strategic moves, including a daring incursion into Russia’s Kursk region, aimed to create a buffer zone and divert Kremlin resources. Despite the destruction and fear, Ukraine managed to gain control of significant territory in Kursk, demonstrating the effectiveness of its defensive actions against Russian aggression.
