Israel Defense Forces Claim Killing of 100 Militants in Rafah
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of around 100 militants and the discovery of weapons and hideouts in Rafah, Gaza. IDF Spokesman Avichay Adraee reported successful operations against armed cells, resulting in the destruction of booby-trapped buildings and weapons. Clashes with militants in civilian areas led to the uncovering of additional weapons and a tunnel.
In response to the violence, tensions escalated along the Lebanon-Israel border, with Hezbollah launching rockets at Israeli military bases. Despite pleas for ceasefire and humanitarian aid from UN officials, the conflict shows no sign of abating. Nearly 84% of Gaza residents have been forced to flee their homes, seeking refuge in shelters, streets, or with relatives.
As the situation worsens, the need for international intervention grows. China emphasizes the importance of protecting civilians and infrastructure, urging swift action to achieve a lasting ceasefire. With no end in sight, innocent lives hang in the balance as the conflict rages on.
