In a fiery response to the opposition’s ‘Mysuru Chalo’ march over an alleged land scam, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah declared that none of their leaders have the moral high ground to question him. He urged the people to drive out those he referred to as ‘Manuvadis’.
The ongoing campaign demanded Siddaramaiah’s resignation, accusing his wife of benefiting from a Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) scam. Siddaramaiah hit back at a rally in his hometown, denouncing the opposition’s allegations.
The chief minister addressed a gathering, emphasizing the need to oppose communal and casteist forces. He highlighted the struggles faced by leaders from backward communities and accused his opponents of forming alliances against him.
Siddaramaiah also called out prominent opposition leaders like Yediyurappa and Kumaraswamy for their alleged involvement in scams, challenging their credibility to question his governance.
Accusing the BJP and JD(S) of lacking moral authority, Siddaramaiah defended his position and rallied support from top Congress members to counter the opposition’s campaign.
