US Vice President Kamala Harris has finalized her selection for a running mate, according to four sources close to the process. Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota has reportedly been chosen as her pick, as reported by CNN.
With a background in education, Walz is currently serving his second term as Governor of Minnesota and also holds the position of chair for the Democratic Governors Association.
Prior to his role as governor, Walz spent 12 years in Congress, representing a conservative-leaning rural district. Despite the district’s historical Republican dominance, Walz was able to secure his seat and make his mark in the political arena.
