The Lagos State Government is taking proactive measures to prevent flooding in the Eti-Osa Local Government Area by cleaning, de-flooding, and maintaining the Abraham Adesanya Primary Channel. Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, announced the initiative, aiming to safeguard lives and property from the risk of flooding.
Operatives from the Drainage Maintenance Department are working diligently to ensure water flows freely, evacuating silts and conducting maintenance dredging. This ongoing effort demonstrates the government’s commitment to addressing potential flooding challenges in the area.
