وقف أمير منطقة تبوك الأمير فهد بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز، ميدانيًا، على أعمال المراحل النهائية لمشروع مبنى مجلس المنطقة الجديد وقاعة المؤتمرات بمدينة تبوك، وكان في استقباله لدى وصوله مقر المشروع وكيل إمارة المنطقة محمد بن عبدالله الحقباني وأمين مجلس المنطقة الدكتورة خلود الخميس.
واطلع أمير تبوك خلال الجولة على مختلف الإدارات والأقسام بالمبنى، وقاعة المؤتمرات، وصالة الاجتماعات والمحاضرات، إضافة للخدمات والمرافق العامة التي سيتم تجهيزها بأحدث التجهيزات.
ونوه في ختام الجولة بما شاهده من نسب إنجاز في المشروع، مؤكداً ضرورة العمل الجاد لتقديم كل ما فيه خدمة الوطن والمواطن إنفاذاً لتوجيهات القيادة الحكيمة -رعاها الله.
وأضاف: هذا المبنى بما فيه من مكونات ليس لمجلس المنطقة فحسب، بل لاحتواء جميع الأنشطة والفعاليات التي تهم أبناء وبنات المنطقة.
من جهة ثانية، استقبل أمير منطقة تبوك، رئيس مجلس إدارة اللجنة الوطنية لرعاية السجناء والمفرج عنهم وأسرهم بالمنطقة يوسف صابر الثبيتي وأعضاء مجلس الإدارة ، وبحضور الأمين العام للجنة المهندس أحمد عدلان الشمراني، بمناسبة تشكيل المجلس في دورته الجديدة، ورحب بأعضاء المجلس مقدما لهم التهنئه والتوفيق وشكر الأعضاء السابقين على ما قدموه في الدورة السابقة ، واطلع على خطه عمل اللجنة.
