أعلنت المديرية العامة للاستخبارات والأمن في وزارة الدفاع، اليوم الأحد، الإطاحة بتاجرَي مخدرات يقومان بزراعة نباتات مخدرة في ذي قار.
وذكر بيان لوزارة الدفاع تلقته وكالة الأنباء العراقية (واع)، أنه “بتوجيه وإشراف وزير الدفاع ثابت العباسي ،ضمن الاستمرار بتنفيذ عمليات نوعية لمفارز المديرية العامة للاستخبارات والأمن بوزارة الدفاع، وبجهد استخباري عالٍ وبعد استحصال الموافقات القضائية اللازمة، تمكنت مفارز مديرية استخبارات وأمن ذي قار التابعة الى المديرية ذاتها من الإطاحة باثنين من تجار المخدرات يقومان بزراعة نباتات الداتورا المخدرة في مناطق زراعية في المحافظة”.
وأضاف أنه “تم ضبط (10 )كيلو غرامات من نباتات الداتورا المخدرة بحوزتهما ومعدة للبيع”، مبينا أن “العملية نفذت بعد تبادل إطلاق النار حيث تمكنت القوة من القبض عليهما بالجرم المشهود وبعد التحقيق اعترف المتهمان بأنه تمت زراعة نباتات الداتورا في مزرعة تبلغ مساحتها (300 متراً مربعاً)”.
وأشار الى أن “مفارز مديرية الاستخبارات عثرت على المزرعة وأحالت المتهمَين إلى الجهات المختصة وفق أحكام المادة (28) مخدرات”.
