نجحت المملكة ممثلة بهيئة الرقابة ومكافحة الفساد في استضافة الأمانة العامة الدائمة للشبكة الإقليمية لاسترداد الأصول في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا (مينا-أيرن) التي تم الإعلان عن تأسيسها يوم أمس، وذلك خلال الاجتماع التاسع والثلاثين لدول مجموعة العمل المالي لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا (مينافاتف).
وهنأت أمانة شبكة كامدن المشتركة بين الوكالات لاسترداد الأصول (كارين) المملكة على استضافة الأمانة، ورئاستها للشبكة في عام ٢٠٢٥م، وذلك خلال الاجتماع العام العشرين للشبكة، الذي عُقد اليوم (الجمعة) ٢٢ نوفمبر ٢٠٢٤م في باريس.
وأشادت سكرتارية شبكة كامدن بجهود المملكة، ممثلة في هيئة الرقابة ومكافحة الفساد، التي بادرت بالسعي لتأسيس الشبكة واستضافتها للأمانة الدائمة لها، مؤكدة أن هذه الخطوة تعد من المبادرات الرائدة على المستوى الدولي في مجال التعاون لمكافحة الفساد والجريمة واسترداد الأصول، كما تسهم بشكل كبير في تعزيز الجهود الدولية لتتبع الأصول واستردادها.
يشار إلى أن عدد الشبكات الإقليمية لاسترداد الأصول حول العالم سيصبح تسع شبكات، تضم الجهات المعنية باسترداد الأصول في 200 دولة وإقليم حول العالم، تشمل سلطات إنفاذ القانون، وجهات التحقيق، والادعاء العام المختصة بملاحقة الأموال المهربة واستردادها في الجرائم كافة، وهو ما يعزز الجهود الدولية لمكافحة الفساد وملاحقة مرتكبيه لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة.
بدورها شكرت هيئة الرقابة ومكافحة الفساد أمانة شبكة كارين على دعمها المستمر لجهود الهيئة في تأسيس الشبكة الإقليمية، كما شكرت ممثلي الدول في مجموعة العمل المالي لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا ( MENAFATF) على ثقتهم ومباركتهم لتولي نزاهة الأمانة الشبكة واستضافة الاجتماع الأول لأعمال الشبكة، مؤكدة التزامها وسعيها لتحقيق أهداف ومصالح أعضاء الشبكة، بما يسهم في تعزيز سبل التعاون الفعال في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.
