House of Representatives Speaker Hanafi Gebali referred a presidential decree and two bills submitted by the government to ad-hoc committees for review.
The decree, which was referred to the parliament’s constitutional and legislative affairs committee, is related to establishing a 63.5-kilometer railway line connecting Roubiki, Tenth of Ramadan, and Belbeis in collaboration with the French Development Agency (AFD).
Gebali also referred a bill on the final account of the Ministry of Justice budget to the Planning and Budget Committee and another one on the suspension of Law No. 113/1939 on land tax to a joint committee of the Planning and Budget Committee and the offices of the Agriculture and Irrigation, Food Security and Animal Wealth, and Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee.
