The CEO of the El Nasr Automotive Company, Khaled Shedid, announced that the first car produced by the company will be released in the coming May.
During a phone interview with al-Hayat TV channel, on Saturday evening, Shedid said that the company’s passenger car factory is designed to produce 20,000 cars annually, at a rate of 80 cars per day.
“Two or three months before the start, there will be a launch for cars to advertise them,” he added.
The CEO of the company refused to disclose the price of the cars that the company is planning to launch in the Egyptian market.
The El-Nasr Automotive Company celebrated its return to production on Saturday, after about 15 years of hiatus, as it announced the imminent launch of the first locally manufactured bus with a high percentage of locally-produced components.
