The trailer for the action-packed film was launched at a grand event in Gandhi Maidan in Patna, Bihar.
The blood-socked trailer for ‘Pushpa 2’ opens with a man discussing Pushpa (Allu Arjun) as he makes a stunning appearance.
A woman is then heard saying, “Pushpa is not just a name, he is a brand.”
Amid a range of intense action sequences, Srivalli (Rashmika Mandanna) also appears in a couple of romantic scenes with Arjun.
Actor Fahadh Faasil then makes an entrance into Pushpa’s world as his arch-nemesis, vowing to battle against him.
Sharing the trailer, the makers wrote, “This time it isn’t just FIRE, it is WILDFIRE. #Pushpa2TheRuleTrailer out now!”
Earlier, Indian media outlets reported that the sequel to Allu Arjun’s blockbuster ‘Pushpa’, already made over INR1,000 crores in its pre-release business, by selling off the theatrical and non-theatrical rights of the film, more than a month before it finally hit the movie halls.
According to the details, the title has made more than INR500 crores combined, by selling off the theatrical rights of the original and dubbed versions of the sequel across India, in addition to INR125 crores from overseas.
Additionally, the OTT streaming rights of the title have been sold to Netflix, in a whopping deal of INR275 crore, whereas, the satellite and music rights of ‘Pushpa 2’ went for INR85 and INR65 crores respectively, taking the non-theatrical business to over INR400 crores.
