A woman has been arrested by police after a car had almost had a head-on collision with a police car early this morning in Melbourne’s north-east.
Police said a grey Holden Cruze sedan allegedly veered onto the wrong side of Plenty Road at Yan Yan at 2am and narrowly missed the travelling officer’s vehicle.
The alleged driver was pulled over and accompanied officers to a police station.
Police said she then allegedly refused to undergo an evidentiary breath test.
The 26-year-old from Craigieburn is expected to be charged on summons with dangerous driving, drink driving and other driving offences.
