Two schools and three kindergartens have been destroyed, and nine high-rise buildings, a service station, a church, retail facilities, a main heating pipeline, garages and more than 40 vehicles have been damaged as a result of a Russian attack on the city of Odesa on the evening of 14 November. Quote from the Office of the Prosecutor General: “An investigation has found that the Russian Armed Forces carried out an air attack with missiles and UAVs on Odesa on the late evening of 14 November. A woman, 35, was killed in the attack. 10 people were injured, 8 of whom were taken to hospital with injuries of varying severity. The enemy also hit the port infrastructure of Odesa.”
Quote from Buinevych: “Two schools with broken windows and frames again. Three kindergartens [were hit – ed.].
It’s a painful and familiar algorithm, we’ve got a mess – we repair and deal with everything. They [the Russians – ed.] have such a distorted mind that they destroy houses, children’s institutions, hospitals, they kill and maim. What kind of education is this…”
Details: The Air Force confirmed that Odesa had been attacked on the evening of 14 November by Shahed drones flying to Odesa from across the sea – from Russia’s Krasnodar Krai and temporarily occupied Crimea. This is why Russian attacks create so much damage on the ground in Odesa, even after attack UAVs with warheads have been shot down.
Quote from Ihnat: “It’s Shahed drones, not the ‘unidentified type’ that is constantly flying from the north mixed with real attack drones.
Odesa is attacked frequently – with ballistic missiles, air-launched guided missiles, cruise missiles and attack UAVs. The dense city planning and the urbanised area make it difficult for air defence to respond, but the percentage of the downed targets remains high. Unfortunately, not everything that flies can be shot down over the sea!
Every Ukrainian knows how to react to a Russian air-raid warning. Do not ignore it!”
