Ukrainian Quality Initiative Showcased in Washington

The Made in Ukraine initiative, focused on enhancing the production and global promotion of Ukrainian high-quality goods, was unveiled at Ukraine House in Washington. In a joint effort by the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States and Bank of America, the program aims to boost the export of Ukrainian products worldwide.

Ambassador Oksana Markarova highlighted the importance of supporting Ukrainian goods during challenging times, emphasizing the need for global backing. Guests at the event not only got acquainted with Ukrainian products but also received presentation sets to further promote local manufacturers.

The Made in Ukraine policy, spearheaded by Ukraine’s leadership, fosters connections between Ukrainian and American businesses. U.S. Under Secretary Jose W. Fernandez praised Ukraine’s potential as a market for American investors, recognizing the country’s strategic location and skilled workforce.

Despite ongoing challenges, American companies are expanding their presence in Ukraine, indicating confidence in the country’s economic future. Key figures, including Ukrainian Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko and NBU Governor Andriy Pyshnyy, highlighted the program’s significance for global economic stability.

The recent launch of the Made in Ukraine website and the opening of new branches across Ukraine underscore the government’s commitment to the program’s success. Join Ukraine in its journey towards economic prosperity and global recognition through the Made in Ukraine initiative.
