Ukrainian forces downed 44 Russian drones in battle

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have successfully taken down 44 enemy strike drones in various regions, as reported by the Ukrainian Air Force. These drones were confirmed to be downed in multiple locations, with one drone heading towards Belarus and one still in Ukrainian airspace. Additionally, the Air Force detected and tracked a total of 98 enemy air attack assets, including ballistic missiles and guided air-to-surface missiles.

Unfortunately, the enemy also targeted civilian infrastructure in regions such as Sumy and Dnipro, resulting in civilian casualties. In one instance, a strike in Dnipro led to injuries and fatalities, including a 14-year-old child. In Kyiv, a residential building was struck by a Russian drone, causing one fatality and multiple injuries.

The ongoing conflict highlights the importance of vigilance and defense measures to protect both military and civilian populations. As the Ukrainian forces continue to combat enemy drones and missile attacks, support from the international community remains crucial in preserving peace and stability in the region.
