SAHA EXPO in Istanbul showcased the Ukrainian defense industry’s strength and innovation through two exhibition stands featuring leading companies. Representatives from the National Association of Defense Industry Enterprises of Ukraine highlighted the importance of exhibitions in establishing contacts for future cooperation. Products displayed were tested in real war conditions and refined based on military feedback, ensuring quality and reliability.
The Aerospace Association of Ukraine also had a joint stand featuring well-known companies like Motor Sich and Ukroboronprom. Visitors from international delegations praised Ukrainian aviation engines’ quality and reliability.
During the exhibition, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced signed contracts worth USD 6.2 billion, including some with Ukrainian companies. He highlighted the significant growth in Turkey’s defense exports over the years.
The event was attended by a Ukrainian delegation led by Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, who held important discussions with Turkish officials and defense company leaders.
SAHA EXPO attracted over 120 countries and 1,200 companies this year, emphasizing its international importance in the defense industry.
