According to GUR, these units, trained in Russia, are now actively participating in the conflict against Ukraine.

Reports indicate that approximately 12,000 North Korean soldiers, including 500 officers and three generals, have been sent to Russia for this operation, as confirmed by Ukrainian intelligence officials.

The statement also mentioned that these soldiers are well-equipped with ammunition, bedding, winter clothing, footwear, and hygiene supplies.
