Syrian and Lebanese Ministers Discuss Displaced Citizens

In a recent meeting at the Interior Ministry building in Damascus, Interior Minister Maj. Gen. Mohammad Khaled al-Rahmoun and Lebanese Minister for the Displaced, Issam Sharaf El-Din, discussed the return of displaced Syrians and the facilities provided to Lebanese citizens affected by Israeli aggression on Lebanon.

Major General al-Rahmoun emphasized the Syrian state’s commitment to facilitating the return of displaced individuals from both Syria and Lebanon. He highlighted the provisions made at border centers to process citizenship documentation swiftly and allow entry based on various travel documents.

Minister Sharaf El-Din expressed gratitude to Syria for their assistance in facilitating the return of displaced citizens to their respective countries. This meeting signifies ongoing collaboration between the two nations in addressing the needs of displaced individuals.

This partnership highlights the importance of cross-border cooperation and solidarity in times of crisis, showcasing a strong bond between Syria and Lebanon in providing support to those affected by conflict.
