Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt has endorsed the upcoming Marathi action-drama, Raanti, featuring Sharad Kelkar in a gripping role. Dutt hailed the film as “the most powerful Marathi film” and set high expectations for its release on November 22. The duo had previously collaborated in the 2017 film Bhoomi, enhancing anticipation for their reunion.
Sharing the teaser on October 26, Dutt introduced Raanti as a compelling narrative set in the fictional town of Patalpur, depicting a world of violence and survival. Kelkar portrays a character haunted by his past, embroiled in a brutal environment where wielding weapons defines existence.
Exploring themes of revenge and turmoil, the teaser showcases Kelkar’s commanding presence as Raanti, supported by co-stars including Sanjay Narvekar and Santosh Juvekar. While the storyline remains shrouded in mystery, the film promises intense action sequences and an enthralling narrative.
As fans await Raanti’s release, Dutt gears up for his own project, KD – The Devil, a Kannada-language film inspired by true events from the 1970s, featuring a star-studded cast including Shilpa Shetty Kundra and V Ravichandran.
