Russian airstrikes in Dnipro and Kyiv result in seven deaths

Tragedy struck Ukrainian cities as Russian missile strikes claimed innocent lives. In Dnipro, five individuals, including a child, lost their lives. Similar attacks in Kyiv and its vicinity resulted in two more casualties. These strikes followed the conclusion of the BRICS summit in Kazan, where calls for peace by world leaders were overshadowed by violence.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attacks, stating, “This proves once again that aggression cannot be stopped by talking, but only by decisive actions.” The strikes on Dnipro caused extensive damage, including to a hospital, while Kyiv faced drone strikes leading to more fatalities.

With ongoing attacks threatening energy infrastructure, Kyiv urgently seeks increased air defenses. Meanwhile, Russian forces continue to advance, capturing the village of Oleksandropol. The conflict escalates, highlighting the need for swift international intervention.
