PM Modi, Spanish PM Sanchez To Inaugurate Tata’s Aircraft Manufacturing Facility In Gujarat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Spanish counterpart, Pedro Sanchez, will inaugurate the Tata aircraft complex in Gujarat’s Vadodara for manufacturing C-295 aircraft by Tata Advanced Systems. This will be the first private sector final assembly line for military aircraft in India, as stated by the Prime Minister’s Office.

Under a new agreement, Tata Advanced Systems will produce 40 aircraft at the Vadodara facility, with Airbus delivering 16 aircraft separately. This milestone marks a significant step towards developing a complete ecosystem for the production and maintenance of military planes within India.

Furthermore, Modi will launch development projects worth more than Rs 4,900 crore in Amreli during his visit to the state, including the inauguration of the “Bharat Mata” Sarovar in Dudhala. These initiatives, spanning various sectors, aim to benefit several districts in Gujarat, enhancing infrastructure and promoting economic growth.

This collaborative effort between public and private entities signifies a transformative shift in India’s aerospace and defense manufacturing capabilities, promising a brighter future for the country’s technological advancements.
