Pakistan reaffirms support for occupied Kashmir people

Breaking News: The National Assembly of Pakistan stands in solidarity with the people of Indian-held Kashmir on ‘Black Day’, reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering support for their struggle for self-determination. Federal Minister Amir Muqam introduced a resolution marking the 77th anniversary of the Indian invasion of Kashmir in 1947.

The resolution emphasizes the importance of resolving the Kashmir conflict for lasting peace in South Asia, in line with UNSC resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. It condemns India’s attempts to alter the disputed status of Kashmir and violation of human rights through political repression.

The NA rejects farcical elections in the region and calls for the release of political prisoners, lifting of bans on political parties, and implementation of UNSC resolutions. The resolution urges India to improve the human rights situation in Kashmir.

Let’s stand together in support of Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination. Stay tuned for more updates!
