Musk backs Trump amid Moscow’s denial of secret Putin talks

Elon Musk, the richest man in the world and a supporter of Donald Trump, is facing new controversy over reports of his regular contact with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Despite Kremlin denials, the Wall Street Journal revealed the connection. The U.S. Justice Department also sent a warning to Musk’s America PAC regarding potential violations of federal law related to $1 million giveaways to registered voters.

As the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, Musk has invested millions into supporting Trump, hosting rallies, donating to political action committees, and promoting Trump on social media platform X. Musk’s alleged conversations with Putin have raised national security concerns, while his daily giveaways to voters have drawn criticism and warnings of potential illegality.

While Kremlin spokespeople deny the reports of Musk’s interactions with Putin, concerns remain about the influence of Musk’s wealth and influence on election outcomes. As investigations continue, questions remain about the ethical implications of billionaires using their resources to sway political events.
