Candidates with disabilities (PwD and PwBD) will receive an additional hour of compensatory time for the three-hour JEE Main 2025 exam

The National Testing Agency, NTA has released guidelines for JEE Main 2025 candidates with disabilities. They will receive an extra hour of compensatory time for the three-hour exam, allowing up to four hours to finish. The option for a scribe will also be available on submission of relevant certificates. NTA addressed queries on scribe and compensatory time for PwD/PwBD candidates in the official notification.

NTA specified that the additional time should not be less than 20 minutes per hour of the exam for those using a scribe/reader/lab assistant. PwBD candidates are eligible for at least one hour of extra time, regardless of facility usage. The official schedule for JEE Main 2025 has not been released yet, but NTA is expected to start the online application process by the end of November 2024.

The official schedule for JEE Main 2025 is awaited, but candidates can anticipate the commencement of the online application process in November 2024 on the official website- jeemain.nta.ac.in.
