Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, is rallying All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for the upcoming local government elections to secure a resounding victory for the party. Confident in the APC’s track record of fulfilling electoral promises, Abiodun believes the party is well-positioned for success in the polls set for 16 November.
Speaking at a meeting with chairmanship and councillorship candidates, as well as local government party chairmen, Governor Abiodun emphasized the importance of unity within the party and the need to maintain harmony during the election process. He expressed his confidence in the candidates selected for their leadership capabilities at the grassroots level.
Highlighting his administration’s achievements in infrastructure development and governance democratization, Abiodun urged the candidates to embody the ‘ISEYA’ vision in their local campaigns. He also announced plans for groundbreaking projects in the Ogun Waterside Local Government Area.
With over 700 kilometres of roads and 4,000 housing units built, Abiodun’s administration has made significant strides in improving the state’s infrastructure. The governor urged candidates to campaign actively to secure a successful outcome for the APC in the upcoming elections.
