Abadan Oil Refining Company CEO, Ghayyem, reassured the public that operations at the refinery are running normally despite rumors of a missile attack. He stated that employees are carrying out their duties as usual and there is no issue at the facility.
Ghayyem clarified that the sounds heard by citizens were from air defense fire and not from any missile or shell aimed at the refinery. This confirms that all oil facilities are undamaged and fully operational.
Reports of explosion sounds in Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam provinces were attributed to the air defense systems in the region. Ghayyem’s statement aimed to dispel any concerns and reassure the public of the safety and integrity of the refinery.
