The Aftermath of Tropical Storm Trami in the Philippines

The devastation caused by Tropical Storm Trami in the Philippines has left over 100 people dead or missing, with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. stating that many areas are still isolated and in need of rescue.

Trami, one of the deadliest storms in the region this year, has claimed at least 81 lives and left 34 others missing. The death toll is expected to rise as reports come in from remote areas.

Rescue efforts are ongoing, with emergency personnel working tirelessly to find missing villagers. One father, waiting for news of his 14-year-old daughter, wept as her remains were recovered.

In a heartbreaking scene, white coffins lined a basketball gym in Talisay, holding the bodies of those lost in the landslides. The entire community is in mourning, coming together to support one another in this time of tragedy.
