Medical staff have been rounded up and placed in a single room, with several staff members, including, Dr Hussam Abu Safiya, the Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, summoned to the area where the Israeli forces are stationed in the hospital courtyard.

The World Health Organization has reported that Israeli forces have raided Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, leaving more than 150 people trapped inside. Contact with the staff has been lost, causing concern for the patients and staff members present.

Israeli soldiers have ordered patients and medical staff to gather in the hospital courtyard amidst ongoing shelling, with reports of forced displacement and detainment by Israeli forces. The WHO has managed to transfer some patients to Al-Shifa Hospital, but the situation at Kamal Adwan remains dire, with a lack of essentials like water, food, and medical services.

The ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza has resulted in a devastating toll on the civilian population, leading to a humanitarian crisis. Calls for immediate intervention and protection of hospitals and patients have been made by international organizations as the conflict escalates.
