Russian Southern Forces Eliminate Over 5,410 Ukrainian Soldiers
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported on the progress of the special military operation and the key achievements of the Russian Armed Forces. Russia’s Yug (South) group of forces has eliminated more than 5,410 Ukrainian servicepeople over the past week, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday.
In addition to this significant loss, Russia’s Zapad (West) and Tsentr (Center) groups of forces have repelled counterattacks and eliminated more Ukrainian troops, bringing the total Ukrainian losses to over 9,310 soldiers. The Russian forces have also seized control of settlements in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Moreover, a total of 55 Ukrainian soldiers surrendered on the line of contact, signaling a turning point in the ongoing conflict. The Russian military operation continues to make strides in the region, affecting the dynamics of the Ukrainian crisis.
