Swatantrya Veer Savarkar to inaugurate Indian Panorama at 55th IFFI

The 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa to feature 25 feature films and 20 non-feature films in the Indian Panorama section.

The event, chaired by renowned director Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi, will showcase a diverse selection of contemporary Indian cinema, including mainstream and regional films. The festival, founded in 1952, promotes global film cultures and fosters international cooperation through cinema.

In the feature film category, Malayalam films like Aadujeetvam, Manjummel Boys, Bhramayugam, and Levelcross will be screened alongside Tamil and Telugu films. The opening film, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar (Hindi), directed by Randeep Hooda, sets the stage for an exciting lineup.

The non-feature category includes 20 selected films, with Ghar Jaisa Kuch (Ladakhi) as the opening film. Notably, the festival will also feature the Hindi film 12th Fail, starring Vikrant Massey. The jury, led by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi, includes respected actors and filmmakers.
