Philly police charge 3 men after Jews threatened with gun

Philadelphia police recently arrested three individuals for committing a hate crime against a group of Jewish men. The suspects, identified as Aueb Salahedein, 22, Adam Anse, 19, and Ahmad Twam, 19, were charged with ethnic intimidation, criminal conspiracy, terroristic threats, possession of an instrument of crime, and recklessly endangering others. Salahedein also faces charges for violating the Uniform Firearms Act.

During the incident, the Jewish men tried to escape, but Salahedein reportedly smashed their car’s windshield with a gun. The suspects then fled the scene in a BMW, which ultimately led to their identification through the vehicle’s license plate.

This horrific act of antisemitism serves as a reminder of the importance of standing up against hate crimes and promoting tolerance and understanding in our communities. The swift action taken by the Philadelphia police sends a strong message that such hateful behavior will not be tolerated.
