Lebanon reported that an Israeli airstrike killed three journalists, labeling it a “war crime.” The strike targeted a journalists’ residence in Hasbaya, southern Lebanon, leading to the death of a cameraman and broadcast engineer from Al Mayadeen and a video journalist from Al-Manar, associated with Hezbollah.

Notably, a total of 18 journalists from seven media outlets were present at the scene during the attack. Lebanon’s Information Minister condemned the strike as an assassination carried out with meticulous planning. Other media organizations like Al-Jadeed, Sky News Arabic, and Al Jazeera English witnessed the overnight attack.

While Israel has not provided any comment on the incident, the strike also resulted in injuries to three other individuals, as reported by Lebanon’s health ministry.
