Israeli strikes in Lebanon kill 3 journalists

Tragedy struck in Lebanon as three journalists lost their lives in separate Israeli air strikes in eastern Lebanon. The Lebanese state media reported that the journalists were killed in Hasbaya, near the Syrian border, while buildings in Beirut’s southern suburbs were flattened.

The air raid in Hasbaya hit a hotel, while in Beirut’s Choueifat Al-Amrousieh area, two buildings were destroyed, causing a large fire and black smoke to cover the area. Israeli forces issued evacuation warnings for Hezbollah strongholds after the intense assaults.

Israeli warplanes continued their strikes in Beirut, targeting various areas including Haret Hreik and Hadath. The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has resulted in significant civilian casualties, with at least 1,580 people killed in Lebanon alone.

Journalists and media workers have also been among the casualties, highlighting the dangers faced by reporters covering conflicts in the region.
