In a tragic event, the Israeli military conducted operations overnight into Friday in Khan Younis, resulting in the deaths of 38 people and injuring more than a dozen others, as reported by health officials.
Victims of the attack were taken to the European and Nasser Hospitals. Disturbing records from the European hospital revealed that at least 15 members of the al-Farra family, including 13 children, lost their lives in the attack.
Video footage shared by Gaza Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Bassal showed rescuers recovering the bodies of 9 children from the Al-Farra family in the Al Manara neighborhood.
The Israeli airstrikes and shelling targeted several residential buildings in neighborhoods east of Khan Younis Governorate, resulting in the deaths of six members of the Abdeen family, according to health officials.
