China achieved a resounding 6-0 victory over Bhutan in the 2025 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) under-17 (U17) Asian Cup qualifier in Dalian, Liaoning Province. The team secured their second consecutive win in the tournament with a dominant performance on Wednesday.

After a slow start, China opened the scoring in the 34th minute with a goal from Wei Xiangxin. Despite Bhutan’s strong defense, China pushed forward, with Hebibilla Nurhaji converting a penalty kick early in the second half. The team continued to press, adding more goals through Li Xiang, Hebibilla, Yang Qiandong, and Li, securing a comprehensive victory.

With two wins in Group C, China is in second place behind South Korea and will face Maldives next. Meanwhile, South Korea, who defeated Maldives 13-0, will play Bahrain before a highly anticipated match against China later in the tournament.
