Israeli Strike in Southern Lebanon Claims Lives of Journalists
In a tragic turn of events, Israeli forces conducted a strike in Hasbaya, southern Lebanon, resulting in the death of three journalists. Among the casualties were Wissam Qassem from Al-Manar TV, Ghassan Najjar and Mohammad Reda from Al-Mayadeen TV. Several other media personnel were also injured in the attack.
The SKeyes Center for Media and Cultural Freedom confirmed the names of the journalists who lost their lives in the airstrikes, highlighting the severe impact of the Israeli raid on the press crews in Hasbaya. The strike, which targeted the residential area of journalists, has been condemned as a war crime.
The incident took place in the early hours of Friday morning when Israeli aircraft targeted a chalet complex where journalists were staying. The journalists, including photographers and technicians, faced fatal consequences as a result of the strike.
