The Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić, led a delegation from his government on a visit to Hungary. During their meeting in Budapest, they discussed Bosnia and Herzegovina’s aspirations to join the European Union, with Minister Szijjarto of Hungary offering his country’s support.
Prime Minister Nikšić expressed gratitude for the support and emphasized readiness for cooperation and joint activities. He stressed the importance of using Hungary’s EU presidency to make progress on the Reform Plan and secure legal solutions for EU membership.
Minister Szijjarto expressed regret for the recent floods in the Federation and offered Hungary’s assistance in reconstruction efforts, including the railway system. He reiterated Hungary’s support for BiH’s EU integration.
Additionally, a business forum was held, bringing together over 100 businessmen from Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Representatives of various companies from FBiH also joined the delegation for this two-day visit to Hungary.
