The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation has announced the repatriation of 220 Afghan migrant families deported from Iran and Pakistan on a single day.

On Thursday, the 24th of October, 13 families arrived via the Torkham border, 38 families via Spin Boldak, 48 families through Nimroz Silk Bridge, and 123 families through Islam Qala in Herat.

Some families in need have been referred to aid organizations by officials from the Ministry of Refugees. The tightened immigration policies in neighboring countries have raised concerns about the humanitarian conditions faced by returning families, emphasizing the urgent need for support and resources.

As Afghanistan navigates the return of these families, collaboration between the government and international organizations is crucial to providing aid and facilitating their reintegration into society.
