한동훈, ‘윤 지지율’ 언급…특별감찰관 임명 압박

Recently, Han Dong-hoon, the leader of the People Power Party, criticized President Yoon Suk-yeol’s support rate, which hit a record low after his return to office, demanding the appointment of a special inspector. Han emphasized that appointing a special inspector was a valid promise from his party’s presidential election campaign. During an event in Daegu, he pledged to protect the values of the conservative party and combat any attempts to hinder change.

Han also highlighted the results of a recent Gallup poll, which showed a dramatic shift in public opinion after his party’s victory in the by-elections. He expressed confidence that with government and ruling party alignment, public opinion could rise from 27% to 61%.

The President’s office responded to Han’s demands for a special inspector by emphasizing the importance of focusing on national issues and reforms. However, Han remained steadfast in his commitment to fulfilling his party’s campaign promises. The contentious issue of a special inspector is becoming a focal point of debate between the ruling party and the opposition, with calls for a unified approach to addressing public concerns.
