Turkmenistan and Turkey discuss bilateral cooperation.

A recent working visit by a Turkmenistan parliamentary delegation to Türkiye sparked discussions on strengthening bilateral cooperation. Turkmen MPs had productive meetings with Türkiye’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Nuh Yilmaz, where they explored opportunities for growth in political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian collaboration.

Emphasizing the vital role of parliamentary dialogue in enhancing relations between the two nations, the MPs highlighted the significance of friendship parliamentary groups as platforms for legislative exchange. The Turkmen delegation also engaged with key Turkish officials, including the President of Turks Abroad and Related Communities and the Chair of the Home Affairs Commission at the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

Both sides underscored the value of inter-parliamentary ties in bolstering intergovernmental communication, expressing optimism that increased engagement would foster further progress in Turkmenistan-Türkiye relations.
