Turkish Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacir had a busy day at SAHA EXPO 2024, an international fair showcasing defense, aerospace, and space industries. During the event, Kacir met with several foreign ministers, including NATO Deputy Secretary General Jean-Charles Ellermann-Kingombe, to discuss various topics.
In addition to Ellermann-Kingombe, Kacir engaged in discussions with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, Iraqi Industry Minister Khaled Battal al-Najm, Romanian Economy Minister Stefan Radu Oprea, and Somali Defense Minister Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur. These meetings provided an opportunity to strengthen defense industry ties between Türkiye and its international partners.
SAHA EXPO 2024, organized by the SAHA Istanbul Defense, Aviation, and Aerospace Cluster, has been a significant event since 2018, attracting 1,478 companies from over 120 countries. With 178 foreign procurement delegations and 312 official delegations, including 25 at the ministerial level, the expo serves as a platform for networking and collaboration in the industry.
