A gang of robbers in Lahore pulled off a daring heist, looting valuables worth over Rs15 million from a house in Defence using a special device to block signals. Despite several police stations being on alert, the robbers managed to evade capture by using the motorway and taking an unexpected exit. This was their fourth robbery in just 20 days in the area.
The robbers disrupted mobile phone services within a 100-meter radius of the targeted house, rendering the family helpless. The stolen loot included gold ornaments, cash, branded watches, and other valuables. The gang, known for using a Honda Civic with fake registration plates, managed to escape towards the motorway after a brief encounter with the police.
Lahore Organised Crime Unit DIG Imran Kishwar revealed that the Punjab police are actively pursuing the criminals, even reaching out to authorities in Dera Ismail Khan. Despite their evasive tactics, law enforcement is determined to track down and apprehend the culprits.
