Stefanchuk talks with Bundestag President about fast-tracking arms aid to Ukraine

In a recent meeting, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, and President of the German Bundestag, Bärbel Bas, emphasized the importance of accelerating arms supply to enhance Ukraine’s defense capabilities. Stefanchuk took to Facebook to express gratitude for Germany’s unwavering support and Bas’s personal commitment to supporting Ukraine.

The discussion primarily focused on the current situation on the battlefield and the challenges posed by Russia’s involvement of North Korean military personnel. Both officials also delved into the details of the Victory Plan presented by President Zelensky and exchanged views on its key points.

Stefanchuk highlighted the significance of Germany’s leadership and quick decision-making in aiding Ukraine. Additionally, he engaged in similar discussions with the President of the Assembly of Portugal, José Pedro Aguiar-Branco, regarding the acceleration of military assistance and the Victory Plan.
