Ogun Governor Greenlights Rehabilitation of Key Roads

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun Ensures Equal Development Across Senatorial Districts

The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has emphasized that all parts of Ogun State are being included in the developmental projects of his administration. During a town hall meeting on the 2025-2027 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and 2025 Budget, Governor Abiodun highlighted the even distribution of projects across the three Senatorial Districts in alignment with the 2024 budget.

Projects such as the reconstruction of major roads, including Imoro-Imegun-Opopo road, Igbeba-Eid praying ground to Prison road, Imoru road, and the Odelewu-Ladeshi-Ishiwo road, are priorities for the administration. Additionally, the construction of over 64 kilometers of rural roads aims to enhance rural accessibility and agricultural productivity in the state.

Collaborations with neighboring states, procurement of patrol vans and surveillance drones, and the development of the Gateway International Agro-cargo Airport demonstrate the administration’s commitment to infrastructure and economic growth. With over 600 kilometers of road constructed and ongoing projects, Governor Abiodun continues to receive input from stakeholders to ensure comprehensive development in the state.

This approach, as commended by local monarchs, underscores the administration’s dedication to equitable progress and the involvement of communities in the state’s development agenda.
