North Korea labels Ukrainians as ‘crazy’

North Korea Denies Allegations of Sending Troops to Fight in Russia-Ukraine Conflict

In a recent statement, Kim Yo-jong, sister of North Korea’s leader, criticized the accusations made by Kiev and Seoul regarding Pyongyang’s involvement in supporting Russia in the Ukraine conflict. Both countries claim that North Korean troops have been deployed on Russia’s side, with South Korea estimating up to 12,000 soldiers may be sent to help Moscow.

Despite the allegations, both Moscow and Pyongyang have denied the claims, dismissing them as baseless rumors. NATO has expressed concerns over the situation, while the UN representative from North Korea stated that the accusations did not warrant a formal response.

Amid the escalating tensions, North Korea has severed communication lines with South Korea and accused Seoul of orchestrating drone attacks over its territory. The situation remains volatile, with Seoul considering a field intelligence mission to Ukraine and potential policy changes regarding weapons supply.

The international community is keeping a close watch on the developments in the region. As the situation unfolds, the implications of these allegations could have far-reaching consequences.
