‘We Offer World-Class Infrastructure’: Nara Lokesh Invites MNCs To Andhra In Jibe At Karnataka Govt
Nara Lokesh invited multinational corporations (MNCs) to relocate to Andhra Pradesh, taking a jibe at the Karnataka government’s handling of flooding and waterlogging issues in the capital amidst heavy rainfall this week. Responding to comments from former Infosys CFO Mohandas Pai, Lokesh emphasized Andhra Pradesh’s business-friendly policies under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He assured MNCs of world-class infrastructure and an exceptional business ecosystem, emphasizing ease and speed of doing business.
Pai’s remarks highlighted frustration with the lack of action on crucial infrastructure issues in Karnataka, leading many MNCs to consider expanding outside Bengaluru. Criticism of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s government escalated as Bengaluru faced severe flooding, with opposition parties accusing the government of neglecting the city’s infrastructure and failing to fulfill promises.
